History HERE'S HOW SOME CHILDREN LOST THEIR PARENTS & SURVIVED!Home
Some children in the school lost their parents due to the religious crisis that occurred in Nigeria some years back. The northern part of Nigeria is predominantly Muslims while the southern part is made up of Christians. This took place in the northern part of Nigeria called KANO CITY where some Muslim fundamentalists or Islamic terrorists started attacking the southern Christians who lived in Kano City. They killed many of them; they went from house to house and dragged out the Christians, killed them openly, burnt their houses, burnt their churches, killed many pastors and rendered many children fatherless, motherless and homeless.

Some of the children who lost their parents managed to escape to the southern part of Nigeria where there is peace and freedom of worship¾but were still homeless; no food to eat, no clothing to put on and no means of proper education. It was some of these children that we saw roaming the streets without hope of daily bread¾we accommodated them in the school, gave them clothing, enrolled them as students and placed them on scholarships. This was our contribution to aid 'suffering' humanity, but the cost of financing these projects for the children's education is outstanding, therefore we need your help.
Our schools are located in two southern cities in Nigeria¾Lagos, a large city in the southern part of Nigeria, and the other in a village or countryside known as NSUKWA CITY in Delta State. Most of the children in the school in Delta State are very poor because their parents are indigent, poverty-stricken, and uneducated village farmers who cannot even afford ordinary daily food for the children... not to mention financing their education. These parents do not know the value of education since they themselves are not educated so the school is now faced with the problem of financing the education of not only the children from poor family background, but also the children who lost their parents as a result of the religious crisis in Kano City.
